Questions, answered

What is NextListen.ai?

NextListen.ai turns anything you want to learn, understand, or imagine into a podcast made for you. Type a topic or upload a PDF, and it creates a bingeable, multi-episode show that guides you through it step by step—whether you’re learning how AI works on your commute or making a bedtime adventure starring your kids. Whatever you want to hear, NextListen makes it personal and ready to listen in minutes.

How fast is a show ready?

The first episode is usually listenable in a minute or two; the rest record in parallel right behind it and pop in as they finish.

How do credits work?

One credit buys about a minute of finished audio, and a show costs the sum of its episode lengths. PDF shows add one processing credit per episode so the writer can inspect the source pages. Your first verified account starts with 4 free credits — enough to make a standard first show without paying anything. The welcome grant is one-time, so deleting and recreating an account does not restore it.

Can I control what the hosts say?

Yes. Before anything records you can edit every episode’s title and brief — the brief is exactly what the hosts work from. Power users can go further: the "Review scripts first" option on the create page lets you read and edit the actual line-by-line script before it’s performed.

Are the hosts real people?

No — each voice is AI, cast fresh for the show to fit its topic and vibe. That also means shows can occasionally get facts wrong; factual topics are grounded with real web research, but treat episodes as a fun starting point, not a primary source.

Will every episode sound perfect?

AI-generated voices can occasionally mispronounce a word, shift in tone or voice, use unusual pacing, or produce a brief audio artifact. These normal variations aren’t considered failed generation and spent credits are generally not refundable. If an episode fails to generate, you can retry it for free.

Who can hear my show?

Shows are public by default so anyone can discover them, but you can make any show private when you create it (or later) — then it’s only visible to you.
